Ponerse a la moda!
I used to own this fucking LP, yes, the title it's fucking translated, incorrectly translated also, what the fuck you expected.
Ponerse a la moda is what one used to say to an old fuck who still wore those sweaters or those hats of old fuck:
¡Ponete a la moda, la rrreputaqueteparió, vieja de mierrda! So, biting the "R"s, because our Spanish is degraded shit and no one knows it or understands it but ourselves and it has a weird Scottish influence which no one knew where the fuck it came from.
Abysmal and/or rocambolesque unrelated picture.
Now if you fucking ask me if "Ponerse a la moda" is equivalent to the original title "Flush the fashion", I fucking tell you, I don't have a fucking idea what flushing a fashion is.
I mean, you flush the fucking toilet, even the bidet, if it's too clogged -that may happen- but, how do you flush a fashion? With what? Water? Soda Ivess? Drain opener? Fuego?
I don't get it, unless you're speaking in some sort of American slang thing, if so, go to HELL.
Or, in any case, go ask this question to Mr. Warner Music Argentina, or better yet, eat the question.
The fucking back cover had the song titles translated, I don't fucking bother writing that crap here.
In fact his records were poorly released, with urtographic herrors and ttypos because Cúper sold his soul to the Devil, so the church (all denominations) paid the company important sums to write the song titles incorrectly, in order to infuriate him & punish him for his sins (so someone told me).
The inner sleeve (paper) had the title translated too, grotesque yes
the lyrics still were in English though, we is grotesque but too lazy to translate the fuck of it
I had the records under the water heater, so the vinyl got considerably bent by the heat, and couldn't turn well anymore, unfortunately. Anyway it was completely scratched.
Where are you now "Ponerse a la moda"?
Probably I sold it for 1 cent, if I was lucky
or I exchanged it for a record of Guillermo Vilas?
Are you still on sale, in unpresentable conditions, at the shop of some unscrupulous used records merchant?
Who the fuck knows...
who the fuck knows...
