Both in Hell
"Drink, and dance and laugh and lie
love the reeling midnight through
for tomorrow we shall die!
(But, alas, we never do)".
Dorothy Parker, "The flaw in paganism".
Old man (86) kills his wife (83). Then he kills himself.
The alzheimer* has brought us here, what's this strange landscape?
Have we walked together for so long to end this way?
Who are you? Who am I? We are one
aren't we one? How couldn't we be one?
my dear, you don't have fucking idea.
Have we walked together for so long... for this?
Why this summer is so cold? Colder than Heaven.
How in the world couldn't we be one?
The cold has brought us here, to this rare paisaje sin retorno
to this scenery of frost horticulture, to this nonexistence
and only the cold brought us here, the cold in the middle of the afternoon
and... isn't peculiar this place?
My dear, you don't have a fucking idea.
*Gijón has the lowest rate of crime in Spain, and one of the lowest in the EU.
